CBD Isolate is the powder form of the distillate extract and is only CBD without any other cannabinoid and ranges from 96%-99% pure CBD. The Isolate is a white fluffy material and is semi dissolvable in water.

CBD Distillate is the concentrated extract from numerous Hemp plants, depending on the extraction method will also contain other minor cannabinoids and some plant material. This starts off in a liquid state and after a short while begins to crystalize.

The difference between the two is simple, Full Spectrum contains .3% or less THC which is compliant with State and Federal regulations. Broad Spectrum just has the trace amounts of THC removed and all other parts of the distillate are identical to Full Spectrum. The THC found in Full Spectrum is not enough to feel any sort of “high” but is useful in assisting the body with absorbing CBD.

Crystal Resistant Distillate is a lower CBD content concentrate product usually between 35%-49%. This is often sought after by companies producing Vape Pens.

Water Soluble is an emulsified oil enabling the CBD to easily dissolve in water which is extremely useful in creating drink powders or finished drinks.

Our product comes from our farm in Oregon and is manufactured with an ethanol based extraction method. There are two other forms of extraction, Hydrocarbon and CO2. Both of these methods require a pressurized container which is limited in size and to scale up production requires many expensive pressurized containers, which is extremely expensive at a larger and larger scale. Ethanol based extraction does not require any pressurized containers just ethanol that is chilled to as much as -40 degrees, and as an added benefit the ethanol is reusable. Why doesn’t everyone use an ethanol method if it appears to be better. Hydrocarbon and CO2 can produce a slightly better CBD product but is offset by the much higher cost at scale when compared to ethanol. The real difference comes down to the labs and their proprietary methods of extraction. Our lab through much investment in research and development has created a formula that not only competes but surpasses other extraction method’s quality while keeping the costs low.

Technically Hemp and Marijuana are the same plant, the difference being how the plants are bred for specific traits. Marijuana plants are bred for high THC content for their customers to get “high”. Industrial Hemp however is bred for extremely low THC content .3% or less and high CBD content 10%-18%. As well as many other manufacturing needs like cloth fibers, paper,  and construction materials.
